Arrival with the public transport:

By train:
You can take either the regional railway (Fernbahn) or the rapid-transit railway (S-Bahn) to the railway station Dammtor which is located approximately 1 km from the HWWI. From there, you can take the bus number 109 to Böttgerstraße bus stop in the Alsterdorf direction. Then walk to the Institute which is approximately 300 m away.

Alternatively you can take the Metro (U1 line) to metro stop Hallerstraße which is approximately 700 m from the HWWI.

By taxi from the Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel airport:
The drive from the Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel airport to the Institute takes approximately 20 minutes.
