The Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI) has been awarded as the best GDP forecaster for Germany in the 2023 FocusEconomics Analyst Forecast Awards.

FocusEconomics, a leading provider of economic analysis and forecasting based in Spain, has named the HWWI and its economic researcher and analyst Jörg Hinze as the best GDP forecaster for Germany in the FocusEconomics Analyst Forecast Awards 2023. In a worldwide large circle of the most renowned international experts in the field of economic forecasting, the Institute and Jörg Hinze were awarded for the most accurate GDP forecast for Germany for the calendar year 2022.
