Eva M. Garcia-Moran is a senior researcher at the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI) since October 2018. She is a quantitative macroeconomist and her primary fields of interest are Labor Economics and Family Economics. Previously she was a Post Doc at the University of Würzburg.

Eva M. Garcia-Moran got her PhD in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Afterwards she gained post doc experience in several institutions:  EUI, University of Lugano and Bocconi University. In her research, she models household decisions such as marriage, divorce, fertility or time allocation between labour and home production, quantifying the effects of public policies on these decisions at the aggregate level.
