Morten Grinna Normann is a Research Associate at the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI) and a Doctoral Student at the Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg from April 2023.
Morten Grinna Normann studied Economics at the University of Oslo and Maastricht University, with specialization in Public Economics during the M.Sc. degree. He has experience with analysing a broad range of issues, from immigration, cross-border shopping and agricultural policy, to macroeconomic topics such as inflation and growth.
At the HWWI, Normann mainly does research in business cycle analysis and forecasting and adjacent topics.
