Professional Career

Isabel Sünner joined the HWWI in April 2011 as Senior Researcher. Since 2019, she is Director of International Business Development at the HWWI, since 2021 she is member of the management board. Isabel Sünner has many years of experience in project development and implementation on behalf of national and European clients and an in-depth knowledge of the European funding schemes. From 2013 to 2015, she served as HWWI’s EU Liaison Officer in Brussels; from 2001-2011 Isabel Sünner worked as Researcher and Project Manager at the BAW Institute of Regional Economics in Bremen.

She holds a Diploma in European Business Economics and Public Administration of the University of Applied Sciences Bremen.
