Populismus: Was sind die wirtschaftlichen Konsequenzen?

Prof. Dr. Christoph Trebesch

Handelskammer Hamburg | Forum | Adolphsplatz 1 | 20457 Hamburg | 18:00 - 20:00 o'clock

The electoral successes of populist parties in national elections, most recently in the European elections, raise the question of what economic consequences the election of populist governments has. Prof. Dr. Christoph Trebesch, head of the Research Center for International Financial Markets and Macroeconomics at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and professor of macroeconomics at the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel, presented his latest research results on this topic as part of the HWWI Economic Policy Forum. The event took place on June 10 in the premises of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.
