Dr. Ivan Sergio
Professional Career
Ivan Sergio is a postdoctoral researcher at the Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg and the Leibniz University Hannover. He is also an associate member of the research department “Rational Economics” at the HWWI.
He completed his bachelor’s degree in economics and commerce at the University of Foggia in 2016 and obtained his Master’s degree in Political Science with honors from the University of Salerno in 2018. In 2019, he commenced his Ph.D. studies at the University of Salerno, focusing on economics.
During his doctoral thesis, he delved deeply into topics related to innovation, particularly Information and Communication Technology (ICT) innovation. He also explored green topics, analyzing the impact of information technologies on the environment and green productivity. Additionally, he conducted a study on industrial agglomerations, specifically in the field of ICT. Finally, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on September 2023.
