The project developed holistic governance approaches to promote the circular economy in the North Sea region. The goal of Circ-NSR was to promote the implementation of circular economy principles through the following initiatives:

• Developing and embedding circular economy strategies in local policy and business.
• Establishing regional and interregional circular economy partnerships
• Implementation of pilot projects
• Developing a toolbox to strengthen the management of circular economy projects.
