In this systematic introduction, macroeconomic analysis techniques and national accounting are presented, elementary formal methods are explained and the technique of macroeconomic modeling is taught. Starting from a simple goods market model, macroeconomic models are developed that depict the national economy increasingly more completely and therefore more realistically.
