In addition to supporting the work of the HWWI through membership in the two support associations, there is also the possibility of individual support for individual activities, for example as part of sponsoring events or a long-term strategic partnership.
Since the HWWI is organized as a non-profit GmbH, donations and contributions to the HWWI can be tax deductible.

Supporting the Institute
The HWWI is a non-profit enterprise and does not receive government funding. The public goods provided by the HWWI are offered free of charge. The basic research and methodological training of the staff, which are essential for the quality of the work, the public presentation of the research results and the reliable staff expertise are mainly financed by donations. The HWWI receives these donations from companies and corporations in northern Germany – and from many friends and supporters.
There are various ways to support the HWWI in its work.
